Nice clips and clearly a dual motive power tour that is running and is therefore viable. A sign of the times as to what the typical punter is now happy with on their steam trip.

I've been on Steam Dreams tours in the past and they were great occasions with good hospitality. New era, new expectations.

The first photo was taken at Standish near Stroud ,Glos at 1225

The second one taken as it passed over the river Severn at Over (Over bridge) just after it had left Gloucester at 1526. Hoping to catch the return on Wednesday.

Might be due to changes on the trip : -

"Please Note that due to circumstances beyond our control the planned route from Shrewsbury to Pwllheli for today's journey has had to be amended and we are now travelling from Shrewsbury to Crewe as a one way journey. It has not been possible to use the Class 97 diesel locomotives on the revised route and we will be using Class 47 diesel locomotives instead.

Earlier this week a lorry hit a railway bridge at Machynlleth in Powys and became stuck under the bridge. This has caused the track over the bridge to move as a result of the accident and it is no longer possible for our diesel hauled train to pass over the bridge."

The final day of the trip has changed now double headed from Crewe to London _
"Rostered steam locomotive: doubled headed by steam from Crewe to London Jubilee Class 45596 Bahamas and B1 Class 61306 Mayflower
Diesel hauled from Holyhead to Crewe "

But if a dual motive power trip should not the diesel be inside at the front to comply with NR rules?
