RTT shows a 12 minute stop at Smithy Bridge, I assume for water?
This is a first here is it not, so must be by Paragon Mill otherwise they'll block the crossing.

Who cares? More importantly this snippet in the Manchester Evening news is a publicity gem for the ELR and if Scotsman's trains aren't full already they will be now.

Nice image, but most of those cows seem suitably unimpressed.

Thanks but it was me that was unimpressed having to keep changing viewpoint to keep the cows in the shot as they moved along the canal bank.

Is working 5 or 6 trips between Bury and Rawtenstall only, together with 3 dining trains and a couple of static days at Heywood.
From the web site, all diners sold out, with odd seats only left on the 9 coach trains apart from 3 trains which have some availability on the second weekend although apparently now selling very quickly, particularly in the last couple of days.
