New feature this year will be a Bristol VR running from Wareham railway station to connect with South West Trains, so no excuses now not to come and sample the beers!

Just in case anyone is still under the impression that we've got the 4VEP No3417 coming again for another seaside visit ....
Unfortunately it has not proved possible to allow it to be released from Eastleigh. Sorry to disappoint anyone :smt022

However, we're introducing "DMU Drags" to Swanage Railway activities. Our Class 108 and 117 units will form the stock for Norden - Harmans Cross shuttles. These are fitted in between the standard 40 minute interval service between Swanage and Norden \:D/

As usual, accommodation and camp sites are filling up nicely so if you want to stay overnight then may I suggest you book sooner rather than leaving it to the night before.

Details of the beer/cider/perry list should be available nearer the time.

Pray for fine weather as usual [-o<

Sorry we're not closer, Alberta, but I trust what we've outlined for our Gala [plus some Southern Ales - if you are alcoholically inclined so to speak] will make the mileage more bearable.

Some further details starting to 'creep' out.
31108 hauling one of the two Friday evening trains [either Wessex Belle Bistro (meals and beer) or 'the other one' (food and beer)]
Hopefully having a Damory Buses RV (?) providing hourly-ish shuttles between Wareham Station and Norden Park & Ride - timetable soon.
Details of beers/ciders/perrys should not be too long away - hopefully.

Live Music Friday and Saturday nights provided by "Devils Rejects" and "Frankie Rudd & Friends" respectively. I've never heard of either group so will try to find out types of music and timings.

Trying not to steal MR Bells' thunder, but timetables have been proof-read and are now with the commercial department for publishing, uploading to the web etc. Thoroughly looking forward to this, its pretty much the usual 60+ departure (at Corfe) timetable we've practiced over the last few years but with another new selection of locos.

I've managed to grab my turn at Norden back from the 'boys', now all I need to do is find a spare 5 minutes on the day I'm not shunting and do some work on the Fowler as well!
