We’re still running late but on the Up Main from Reading instead of the relief

Just checked my records and it’s hard to believe it’s over 50 years since I last saw Bahamas on the mainline.
Great to see her again today.

While driving around the area it was noted that there was a presence on nearly every bridge and crossing but not one report received of trespass. Absolutely brilliant and allowed me the opportunity to meet and chat with other enthusiasts. A few shots of Bahamas I managed to take in and around Salisbury yesterday. Not a great day to break my Samsung phone (hence the smudge in the first pic taken from a video) :Banghead:. Had to resort to the iPhone :Depressed:. Guess I'll be off down the repair shop this morning!

A big thank you to these gentlemen for yesterday, Driver Bill Monteith and fireman Chris Yates. The fireman was relieved at Salisbury but Bill didn't come off the footplate until Reading on the way back, not a very pleasant working environment in the sort of weather we had yesterday.
The support crew were creamed before they even started, having prepared the engine on Thursday, probably not rested properly for three days and wouldn't have finished the right side of midnight. Something to remember when you next travel or are out photographing mainline steam

Here's my footage of Bahamas's run yesterday. I filmed her at Hungerford, West Grimstead Foot Crossing, Lockerley and Bapton. I hope you enjoy the video.

My footage of yesterday's mightily warm day. Filmed at Hungerford, Hanging Langford, West Grimstead, Test Lane and Bapton. Enjoy! :)
