    Hi Sam,

I too feared this when this was picked up and reported on the A1 Steam Trust Facebook page - however the response from the original poster at a later date; was that she had contacted the office and the tour was removed from the booking form as it was sold out (no surprise given the route and end point).

I'd advise that if you are still concerned to contact the office yourself and let them put your mind at rest.

Thanks for the information. I’m not on it as I live in Scotland but the sight of an LNER pacific doing both Shap & Beattock out and back on the same day is an extremely exciting one. I’m relieved for the people booked on it that there is no indication of any change.

Just had a call to advise that due to one of the coaches not being available for Tuesdays trip to and from Edinburgh they are advising some pax that they will not be able to travel. Not helped by the fact that as the train starts in Scotland it is Scotlands social distancing rules that apply, not Englands.

One of the SRPS Mk1s was unfortunately involved in a derailment in Holgate sidings last weekend, and despite best efforts from many, is still awaiting road transport back to base for an exam/repairs. Efforts were made to source an additional vehicle but it alas it wasn’t possible on this occasion.

A pleasant bike ride from home to this location. Tornado approaching Leighton Buzzard at Sears Crossing ( the site of the Great Train Robbery) this morning.

You weren’t far away then. I’ve done that location to death. Did you see the LMS liveried narrow boat moored up on the canal?

That's where my first WCML spotting trip was made. Sadly just after steam had finished.

Delayed by 10 minutes at Crewe, 60163 Tornado is making up a bit of time as it hauls Railway Touring Company's The Cheshireman charter on the final leg of its journey from London Euston to Chester.

Tornado's trip to Chester yesterday, seen 6 times on its journey to and from Chester, in some fantastic sunshine:

Bathed in the strong tints of evening sunlight Tornado storms through Long Buckby, on the Northampton Loop, at 19.50 with 1Z65 running a couple of minutes early at this point. A mighty fine sight, and one which roughly 30 people (half of whom were photographers) turned out to see and to catch a glimpse of this superb locomotive in full flight. Not bad for a wayside station, methinks. Tornado's allure remains, and seems to be stronger than ever!
