Yes, I think you're correct that will be 35018, but it will likely just be with the support coach and the stock will already be at Southall.

It seems we will have 35018 on Saturday 3rd July on "The Bournemouth Express" tribute to the Bournemouth Belle starting at Waterloo going to Bournemouth but no further and 60163 on Monday 5th July on the same route but starting at Victoria with the Northern Belle also as a tribute to the Bournemouth Belle, only to Bournemouth. Hurrah!

EDIT: RTT shows the Bournemouth Express on Saturday also leaving from Victoria now and going to Weymouth.

If you look at RTT, it appears that 60163 & the Northern Belle stock goes to Swanage on Monday:

Realtime Trains - 1Z63 0845 London Victoria to Bournemouth
Realtime Trains - 5Z64 1254 Bournemouth to Swanage
Realtime Trains - 5Z65 1620 Swanage to Bournemouth
Realtime Trains - 1Z65 1739 Bournemouth to London Victoria

Thanks - RTT didn't have the times up fpr 60163 when I looked yesterday.
As a matter of interest, although booked non-stop from Victoria to its water stop at Winchfield, the "Bournemouth Express" on Saturday doesn't live up to its name as it has just over 40 minutes of "pathing allowances" between those places, a stop at Southampton for "staffing reasons", two water stops and no other stops, officially. It takes 4hrs 26 mins to get to Bournemouth, less that Southampton stop and two water stops, to give a net 3hrs 50 mins running time. The Bournemouth Belle did Waterloo - Bournemouth Central in 2hrs 10mins! It may be difficult to get a photo of 35018 making any sort of exhaust!

Yes, but now it's 2021. The Bournemouth Belle was withdrawn 54 years ago. Let's just be grateful that we can enjoy seeing the Bournemouth Belle once again. <BJ>

You're taking me a bit literally - the comment was made in jest: all I was saying was that the name Express is hardly appropriate and I think that's really quite funny.

Getting nearer home, passing Headstone Lane: http://mellish.uk/Videos/35018.mp4
Edit: I should say getting nearer its old home. It was pottering along, well behind the Southern service from Milton Keynes, which would have been stopping at Harrow & Wealdstone.
Further edit: Put the http at the front.

Looking at RTT some of the other services are disrupted or cancelled. Not many though so not sure what is happening at York.

Now on its way. Lots of time for reversing moves around York not needed, now running early.

    Hi all,

This looks like Tornado's move on Saturday down to Bishops Lydiard prior to hauling the RTC Royal Duchy tour on Sunday.

Realtime Trains - 5Z30 1125 Southall Wcr to Bishops Lydeard

Will probably go and see her taking on water at Newbury Racecourse and get a few pictures - as might be a little more difficult on the actual tour on Sunday!

My mother reported seeing a Merchant Navy at Basingstoke (god bless her) which I'm assuming was 35018 but am maybe too blind to see whether it's out on an actual trip or if it was a positioning move… only really asking so I can let her know a bit more about it, as she was excited a) to be out and about and b) to have seen actual mainline steam for the first time in yonks.

EDIT Obviously if she's misidentified and it was either Tornado or a WC/BB on manoeuvres she'll be getting a pretty stern telling off.

    Thanks,
    Simon
