I am told that 419 has failed and wont be at the Embsay Railway Rally this weekend, its place in the above post and schedule being taken by Knowle the Terrier.
This must have meant some incredible work getting arrangements in place.

Knowle usually resides at the KESR and has actually been in the Isle of Wight, so on its way back home it is is going to Embsay.
An additional visitor is the Belgium steam tram loco Lucie from the NYMR please see the railways website for details which as I write hasn't had the amended lineup put onto it.

We'll be there tomorrow for the afternoon session. Can anyone tell me what is running apart from the 13.30 and 15.00 departures?

Good value, given what they must have spent on visiting locos.

Indeed! After the losses that heritage railways must have suffered over the last year, I can’t see how anyone could begrudge six quid

Avoid the cost by buying a ticket to travel.

A really enjoyable visit to this event yesterday. Nice to see the Terrier, although No. 2 and Lucie probably stole the show for me, with some particularly impressive banking displays. Video attached, with line side shots from the morning and then around Bolton Abbey in the afternoon, as I only used the first and last parts of my two round trips in the LNWR Observation Saloon. Impressive how many sold out dining trains/afternoon teas ran during the day.

A bit late to the party, but here are a few shots of visiting locomotive 'Terrier' No.2678, including the 30742 Photo Charter on the 28th June 2021.
