Agree with what you say, but the times were on RTT https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U91328/2021-05-20/detailed. They were not on there on Tuesday but had appeared by late Wednesday night.

With problems with the CME stock at Euston, No. 35018 'British India Line' utiliises the original timings for the CME from Carnforth to work through Tebay to
await its stock at Carlisle, Mick Kelly driving and Rob Russell on the shovel

Do we think those will be the locos for Saphos Trains' Bristol-based tours in June?

Maybe but don't overlook that both have been recent failures, so I guess today is a proving run.
There looks to be a Shrewsbury circuit tomorrow.

34046 at Walcot with the IC liveried set of Mk3 coaches which is looking like the standard for this year, the planned shot which may have hidden them was thwarted by some building work. Black and white tempers the clash of colours - it is 2021 and it is what it is !

Steam with inter city carriages is very late 80's early 90's isn't it! I wonder if LSL will throw an ETHEL into the mix next.

I remember running my Hornby Dublo Dorchester hauling Mk3 IC liveried coaches at a Model Railway exhibition and being told that I was taking modelers license to the absolute maximum and that it would never happen!

Very nice photo, especially enhanced with the lower quadrant semaphores, and the weeds!

45562 whistled through Hellifield non stop, omitting the planned stop in the goods loop after an hour's delay at Carnforth. Made it to York 15 minutes early. No water taken en route anywhere, is that a good run for a Jubilee on one tank full?

90 miles so yes pretty good on one tank, but with only the support coach then not surprising that it was done in one go.
