No I do not currently volunteer
I have a JVC PX100BE camcorder which is an excellent piece of kit and would now like to add an external mic to try and cut out wind noise.
Can anyone with who uses an external mic say what they think is a good one from their own experience?

    Thanks in advance.

I have used Røde microphones on all my recent video cameras. Excellent piece of kit and, although they are an Australian Company, their microphones are widely available in the UK.
I can’t remember if a ‘dead cat’ wind blocker is included in the package but, if not, it can be purchased separately for around £25.00
A big plus point is the battery is rechargeable.
