These people would do well to remember the SVR social media policy to be honest, especially those posting such on the internet ;)

As I said earlier, best not to speculate and assume it will be running until we hear differently from the official channels.

A polite reminder that this is a notification thread and not a discussion one. (See the sticky message at the top of this section.)

The SVR has its own thread for operational matters etc. Recent posts have been moved there.

Cheers Andrew, the test runs which ran last week will take some beating. Thankfully it was captured well by other members.

Here's my footage from yesterday. Lady of Legend sounded amazing that day and some impressive loco performances included as well. I hope you enjoy the video.

My contributions from Thursday. Had a very enjoyable day, my thanks go to the SVR for the ambition of organising this event so close to the relaxation of the restrictions, but it seems to have paid off! With regards to the lineside, Bewdley Tunnel in the morning and Eardington Bank in the afternoon each had around 30 people, but everywhere else I went there were only a handful of onlookers around.

Plenty of Great Western action was on show on Friday. Looking forward to travelling on the Sunday, I hope you enjoy part two.

Just received email from SVR, 75069 replaces Lady of legend tomorrow owing to a fault. Repair not been possible this evening, but expected back in service for booked trains end of next week.
Rather gutting having seen the fantastic videos of her on here, but still looking forward to day out tomorrow.

Not a lot to say, another beautiful day in the Severn Valley, lovely to see a lot o familiar faces, especially to see for real rather than on a zoom call. A lot of people commented on how this last couple of days has brought "normality" a lot closer as a feeling than expected.

I knew it was going to be a good day after a beautiful walk down the river at Arley bursting with birdsong, we were rewarded with this glorious sight on the first train, very rare for steam to be on crossing the bridge.
