The first one was the RH&DR in the mid-1950's. One of my earliest memories is being encouraged to board the train (at Hythe I think) by my parents. But does RH&DR in the mid-1950's count as "preserved"?

Most recent would be the Kent and East Sussex around Christmas 2016.

Bluebell around 1971... I was very small and apparently took great exception to "Stepney". 40 odd years later I drove the engine and looked it....go figure.

Most recent .... er well the obvious really.

Well being born in the West Mids and having Parents who helped rebuild the down platform at Arley I’d guess my first railway would be the SVR, but would the NRM at York count whilst my mother was carrying me? There’s also several photos of me outside the caravan we had in Bryncruig outside Twywn in the cot.
    at 2/3 months old.
My last railway would be the SVR last January which was the last time I saw my parents.

Got married in 1982 and bought a railway modeller magazine and an Airfix model of the Cutty Sark to help me through the honeymoon (no Netflix in those days) I found out about heritage railways through the magazine and then started reading avidly. I visited the East Somerset later that year. Although I have no recollection of live main line steam as I was born in Whitstable in 1960, which was electrified in 1958, I had enjoyed journeys by rail as a young boy. The smell walking up to the engine shed at Cranmore evoked something in my brain, although my vision memory had failed me, my smell sense was very vivid.
Last Railway was Swanage last year as a volunteer.
PS I never finished the model of the Cutty Sark

Recall visiting the shed at Bodmin General (late 60's I think) when I believe the GWR society had a loco (or more ) there.
Don't recall the exact year. Would be interested to know any details of dates, history etc of what was there and where when did move out (Thanks in advance).

Most recent visit was Yeovil Steam Centre.

Severn Valley in 1970 when you couldn't buy tickets but became a 'day member' by buying what I recall was a raffle ticket! 3205 and 46443 were in steam IIRC?
Did a 30742 photo charter on KWVR with Bahamas last September. As always, a superb day out!
