Can we cab it please mister! Derby Works open day 1969, two of my mates in the cab shop yard. Explains why sometimes when you caught the angle of an ex-works diesel, you could often see the outline of another number under the paint. Cabbing it 001.jpg

This is another from Tanfield's photo shot part of their Legends of Industry event in 2018. This could be subject of a pub/railway quiz; "How many folk can you get into Reyrolles No2s cab? DSCF0058.JPG

Posted a picture in one of the puzzle threads and thought it might be worth sharing here.
Token pouches successfully exchanged, the Demodara station master walks back to his beautiful cottage-style station, while the school children (and teachers) observe the wonders of steam close up and personal.

I hope you and/or the artist are not trying to spark off another livery debate:)

Anyway as we are on the Swanage Railway can I offer a picture of this fine authoritative looking gentleman at Corfe in 2018. Swanage does BR(S) circa 1960 so well. IMG_0208 copy.jpg

Hi Peter, hope you don’t mind but I’ve ran your photo through a couple filters (noir on my iPhone and Inkwell on Instagram) to backdate it slightly, hope you like. 7EE3257B-474C-4DF0-B1DA-36B040F6B6C9.jpeg

Posted this in the Picture Puzzle thread and thought it would also be worth posting here.
