I spoke to a colleague yesterday, who was very relieved not to be in Tier 1. Nothing to do with liking restrictions, but he didn't want to create the demand for people to come in and upset the balance.

Can't argue with that point of view, but I have a lot of sympathy for the local hospitality traders who see their last chance of survival slipping away. As I say I'm just glad I do nothave to make these decisions.

Nicola Sturgeon has banned non-essential cross border travel. Anyone in Tier 3 & Tier 4 in Scotland is currently not allowed to leave their own health board area which includes me in Fife as Fife is in Tier 3 having initially been in Tier 2. Midlothian is also in Tier 3 so unfortunately this tour will probably not happen. Even if Midlothian is moved down to Tier 2 the cross border travel ban is a major problem almost certain to prevent this tour happening.

Yes well sam ive just received the email confirming this about parts of scotland been in tier 4 and unessential travel lack of bookings from R.T.C. regarding the Edinburgh xmas market 12 dec cancelled cos i booked on this and have been offered the Edinburgh flyer on 20 march and switched my booking to it in the hope that it will run and the new covid vaccine may be taking effect in 2 and half months time. And thus also the xmas white rose 19 december from london kings x has been cancelled so thats xmas 2020 R.T.C. a washout due to impact of covid 19.

All of RTC's 2020 tours have disappeared from the website. Therefore would assume both the Christmas White Roses with 60163 to York are postponed.
