Has anyone else noticed that they seem to be selling AB2201, but the blurb underneath says that 2199 is substantially complete?

They appear to have confused AB2201, a 14", which is for sale at P&B with AB 2199, a 12", at Whitwell and Reepham. Both are called Victory and both built in 1945. It seems that P&B are having a clear-out as the pair of AB's advertised last week https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Steam-En...w-Barclay-Thomas-the-Tank-Engine/324335428182 are also there/from there.

And I believe the GW saloon has also been asked to move along

It is 2201 that is for sale and substantial
It is 2201 which we are offering for sale and substantially complete except a few fittings. The person who done the advert mixed the numbers up I'm afraid!

The two Barclays advertised on ebay previously were privately owned .

We are having a clear up of the site, there was far too much stuff, mainly privately owned that was not actively being worked on.

Is that not part of the vintage rake?

I presume it is meant that the GWR clerestory saloon (ex Newport) in the siding rather than the Manchester and Milford Saloon which is part of the operating rake although doubtless @Alex G will confirm.

Correct the Manchester & Milford Saloon is the one in the vintage train and has not been asked to leave.

Apologies to all. I did see a request for a new home for a GW carriage moving from the P&B, but I cannot find it now.

    Sorry for the confusion

Have both Victory and Llantarnam Abbey left Blaenavon now? I saw a report that Llantarnam Abbey's boiler was with Victory but also that Llantarnam Abbey was going to the WSR for overhaul so am a bit confused.

Victory has been sold with Llantarnam Abbey's original boiler and should be leaving for its new home very soon.

Llantarnam Abbey's chassis is now at Williton being overhauled. The original boiler off Victory is being retained by us for use on Llantarnam Abbey, as its condition was thought to be better than its original.

Hope that clears it up for you.

    Alex.
