Has a railtour ever taken in both Tamworth Low Level and High Level on the same leg of a tour before?

I’m sure BLS or some other rambling tour must have. Sounds like a very 80’s tour to have done both.

Noted down almost 20 shots already... whether or not they’re all going to be fulfilled on the day is another thing, not to mention the West Midlands state of lockdown.

I see from Rail Advent that Braunton is handing over to Taw Valley at Bewdley on the outward journey but working the train throughout from Bridgnorth on the return.
Saphos imply a 3 hour break at Bridgnorth. Any details of its times on the Valley?
I'd Iike to see it at the lineside and don't fancy standing around not knowing if it's coming or gone! I'll avoid the station areas to the passengers (closed to public no doubt).

15 mins allowed for the stops around the circuit, actually took 33 mins. That's the main explanation.

Word is about that Braunton has failed. Taw Valley to Bewdley, 47 thereafter to Crewe.

Confirmed from on train. Braunton left at Bridgnorth with hot box on driver. Attempt to fix but ran out of time. Neil

I assume there was a diesel on the back which will do the honours on the return leg?

According to the Old Man 34046 still at SVR and to undergo attention there.

If as suggested hot driving wheel axle box then wheel drop at Bridgnorth can hopefully assist . Being cheeky I’m hoping a day running in on services would be nice

As would my Dad, rather disappointed not to phot 34046 today, missed out on it twice, and he lives in Bewdley, although he said it sounded rather forlorn as it limped up to Bridgo.
