Well Toni it has to go through Sherburn in helmet to get to Burton salmon jct on to the S. and K. line and either proceed south to Pontefract baghill or turn off eastbound on to the old L.Y.R. main line to pontefract monkhill and to wakefield and leeds top and tailed i reckon for the need of any reversal moves which is very likely.

Next Tuesdays Dalesman is off but I believe that the Thursday SSE is running on the southbound route.

Can I suggest an answer to @Davo as a continuous stream of un -punctuated text. That may work. And I know that comment may not be seen as a particularly kind thing to say but, honestly, there is plenty of tech that people can use to help put together a meaningful post; it's just plain lazy not to at least try.

Given that the bloodiest battle on English soil was fought just down the road at Towton, maybe Helmet is quite apt.

Sometimes I think people on here forget that some members have problems, dyslexia and autism for example and tend to be critical of posts that may not be grammatically correct or written in the manner they see as normal.

Can I just ask that people think before criticising someones grammatically faulty post, as that person may have a problem in communicating.

Yes i am aware pete 12000 ive got a form of dislexia with punctuation marks and spelling mistakes when writing letters or notes but i dont let it bother me as long as folk do understand my grammar to a extent ive had to live with it for the past 21+ years from leaving school and in school.
