Talyllyn, from their email received yesterday:

"Our cafe will re-open on Monday 13th July. Due to current Welsh Government restrictions, all seating will be outside only. We are lucky to have an extensive canopy area and have erected some marquees to provide extra covered space; We also temporarily have the open carriages in the platform at wharf so you can enjoy a picnic on the train!

The cafe will be open 9am to 2pm every day. The menu is slightly limited to begin with, but there is the normal breakfast and lunch favourites.

    Trains
We are re-starting public services on Saturday 1st August..." [with restrictions, as is usual]

A couple of updates from the Bluebell Railway Facebook: Visit England certification and tickets on sale from 15 July.

    Firstly:

    We're Good to Go!

We are really pleased to announce that we have achieved the Visit England certification to show that we have followed Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

We will be reopening on Friday 7 August.

    Then:

    Set your alarm clocks.

We are pleased to announce that tickets for our August reopening services will go on sale at 11am on Wednesday 15 July.

We can't wait to welcome you all back from 7 August - which also happens to be our 60th birthday!

Tickets will be available for a range of services, so don't miss out on being a part of our historic reopening this summer.

    Tom

Just been to kirklees light railway today ah at last a ride on a heritage line much needed since march, anyhow passengers had E tickets and led in through clayton west sta 1 by one to wait 4 the coaches to be sanitised wiped down seats door handles etc and passengers had to sit 1 compartment apart a space of 1 empty compartment in each coach and face masks for over 11 years old to be worn, anyhow i got a bonus as well cos there were spaces available on the 3:20pm train to shelley ret i was allowed a 2nd ride after i had previously travelled on the 12:50pm to shelley and found this out by asking the ticket seller at clayton west, this applies to all passengers if you want a 2nd turn on a later train provided there is space your E ticket can be used like a day rover for no extra charge at the K.L.R. to anyone who may be interested in travelling on the K.L.R. and thus solo enthusiasts can travel on single tickets group bookings not essential.

I notice from Public Health England's list that Kirklees is at the top of the areas facing potential new local lockdowns which I guess means that the railway may have to close again if it comes to pass. :(

Most of those cases were in Bradford Where the infection rates are lowering and wakefield and Normanton at a meat factory im not sure how bad huddersfield itself is at the moment for covid 19.
