Yes - but these were not shown on RTT at 01:00 this morning; presumably leaving a decision about routeing until the last minute.

They weren't showing 30 minutes ago....

Now seems to be a VSTP path but I can't see any changes to the original times.

Brake fault a mile or so short of Clitheroe - been at a stand for a good 40 minutes now.

Finally over the top. Dug in well with a few slips throughout the climb. A respectable 16mph at the summit all things considered. Now stopped outside Blackburn, still on the Clitheroe line... brakes problems continue.

Footage of 35018 approaching a very windy Grayrigg Summit, along with a shot of the 86 at Bay Horse beforehand for good measure.

BIL at Shap Wells cutting nat.jpg

A nervous few moments if the light would hit the track before BIL went through. On the approach to Shap Summit.

You were visible on the station web cam and a few people in the chatroom were praising your tenacity for being out there!

Lateness causing problems as Trent Valley route now closed for engineering works hence diversion via Birmingham; how will Nuneaton passengers be accommodated ?
