When you place a Bo-Bo locomotive on a turntable and then go to the other end, forwards becomes backwards, right?

Always check the alignment of the turntable before entering...

Forgot to mention, the turntable picture isn't a historic one, but this happened yesterday.

AFAIK with Triple valves you need to completely release the brake before making a further, heavier application, you cant just put a bit more brake on.

Ie Applies brake, wants a heavier application, releases more air but nothing happens

I think we can identify the Shedmaster as perhaps the very first person to be “disgusted of Tunbridge Wells”.

That may be so (although I wouldn't say that nothing happens, just less happens) but it is quite unlikely that such a modern Locomotive would be equipped with triple valves.

Yes, a real spider's web, but common for electrics on turntables.

More interesting when you consider that two cranes were ordered to re-rail the loco. How the....?

Looks a bit like Innsbruck, but the over bridge should be nearer.

I know OBB is in the bigger writing, but it's a DB loco that has hopped off the turntable.

These days those multi-system locos end up all over. Nothing new, of course, I remember seeing a DB E-lok in the old blue livery near the Austria - Jugoslavia border in the early 70s. Couldn't be more specific, sadly, I was with my parents in a car on a run from near Villach to Bled.
