    Now a camping coach at Stogumber like the one in Robin's picture might well be a useful addition to the income stream.

    The plan is for the dock to be a safe publicly-accessible space to watch / photograph trains pass, learn about livestock by rail etc. Rolling stock not especially consistent with that.

    Rolling stock would also not enhance my view from Station House...!

    De ja vue, I remember around 1990ish installing some track in that very location and siting the (then) Stogumber station groups accommodation coach there !

    Above my pay grade - that’s a question for the Station Master. There is still quite a lot of work to do on the dock; a concrete beam to cast, more posts and rails to install and the brick surface to repair. Contributions gratefully received, no doubt.

    Some kind of rolling stock would look great there, Forget the nimbys just do it if it frees operational space on the railway for a bit of rolling stock thats gonna be used.
