    Had a chat with Les today. It’ll be Monday afternoon before they know what loco they’re getting. Very doubtful 9 will be fit in time.

    Well I found out from a very good friend of mine. If 60009 is not going to be ready in time for the run on 30th November, 45407 is going to replace it so I been told?

    Confirmed on the RTC website that 44871 is the replacement loco for this trip.

    LMS power in the form of 44871 on the East Coast mainline approaching Doncaster, Nice noise as it accelerated away after crossing over on to the fast line with little or no help from the diesel. IMG_9079.JPG
