Anyone know when LYR 1122 (aka 1300) moved to Carnforth from White Bear? I believe it arrived at White Bear in 1960 and was at Steamtown by 1977.

    Thanks ...

According to the Industrial Rly Soc. lists it wasn't there when compiled on 1st March 1976.

Thanks Ray. That narrows it down to 1976/77.

Just found a photo on Flickr dated 5/6/1976 at Carnforth, so that must confirm the year.

Due to the location of Carnforth, and where several loco's were painted in in different colours than normal at that time,I 'd always thought Furness Railway. The FR had a small class of 0-6-0 s that the LMS reboilered with L &Y boilers. They could be found at at 12D Workington right up to the mid 1950s. Photo attached of two of these loco's ,52510/52499 at Workington ,24/07/1955.Don't view to big ,my camera at the time was a up market box Brionnie, two settings ,sunny and cloudy.
