    Damn and blast. Feel so sorry for JC and his team. I don't doubt for one second that the problem can be sorted but who would blame him if he said " enough is enough, time for us to retire."

    Still at signal 5272 at 15.05 ,must be pretty bad because there is a loop a mile or so further on, known as south release on the map. Friday rush hours soon ,I hope they get it moving.Skates on the way ?

    She's off the up slow and inside the loop now.

    5Z60 has been standing at signal 5260 on the up slow for sometime now at 16.27. Correction ,now off the maps I think its reversed on to a road between the up and down slow lines. Several trains been held on the up main due to congestion.

    I wonder if it was in here.? Photo of Wolverton Works loco shed 27/09/1986.Then home of 08 shunters . LNWR 0-6-0STS, Carriage dept 3 ,6 ,7, 8 worked here for many years.

    There has been a Finnish steam loco (2-8-2 #1060) at the farm where Weeting Steam Rally is held for a number of years. As that location is just outside Brandon, that might be your answer!

    Thanks for the replies. I remember hearing about that railtour and assumed that the loco had been collected and hauled to Toton. Another example of inaccurate newspaper reporting. Roughly 40 tonnes and 9 metres out! Life is too short to get a log-in to Eastern Daily Press to correct the information.
