Photos from today. Two between Bearley Junction and Wilmcote outward (in the rain!!), one at Hatton North Junction (where I met @Landshrew), one approaching Wootton Wawen on the return.

My shots from today's last MoA. Nothing on the outward as getting up to the Midlands from Ely on a Sunday wasn't made easy! A pleasure to meet @alrohomer at Hatton North Junction where we spent a lot more time than we were expecting waiting for the Jube, and a Blunt's Green crossing on the return, with no exhaust but plenty of roar from those three cylinders! Through Wilmcote the roar was clearly heard from the back on the train, at the front it was glorious. After a few slight delays with late running service trains, the last dash from Tamworth to Burton was to say the least, brisk, with a noted maximum speed of around 75mph. :)

Elford, Water Orton, Wood End, and my favourite from this chase, Blunts Green near Henley in Arden.

Clearly the Jubilee and its crews have no problem with the testing exit from Stratford.

We were in platform 1, therefore the exit from the station involved crossing over to the correct side so there was some slipping to start with, but once Galatea was over the points then there was no more trouble. The schedule must have been a bit on the slack side as by the time we got to The Lakes, we were 11 early.... So yes Galatea and the crew had no problem whatsoever.
