I have now started to add a lot of new photos of Maunsells Schools class

This collection features the RCTS East Midlander rail tour 13-5-1962 which it hauled along with LMS 40646.

Various views in Yorkshire and the North East at Church Fenton, Wetherby, Darlington and York.

    Definitely a difficult batch
21/41 30912 Taken at the South Bank end of Hungerford Bridge with Waterloo station in the background.
30/41 30913 Southampton Eastern Docks, Canute Road level crossing. The signals were controlled by Canute Road SB. The building on the left, formerly the South Western Hotel is still there, but is now exclusive apartments. (I'll bet the residents love it with the car trains in and out of the docks at any hour of the day or night!)

    Cheers, Neil

I don't think it is at Brighton, Al. - that's just the loco name. Brighton lost its semaphore signals at the time of electrification in '32/33 and there is clearly a semaphore signal in photo No 9. Interesting that the vac and steam heat "bags" appear to be wrapped up for some reason.

Of course. That'll teach me to look quickly. But 8 and 9 are definitely at the same location.
