Looking positive for Black Prince. The lads in the workshops have done a solid effort in trying to get it ready. Early next week we should have an answer

Just seen the timetable. The 9F is down to be running on Sunday. Shame it's the only day I can't be there, but the rest of the line up looks great.

I see Black Prince and the WD are double heading a few times on the Sunday. Wish I could be there to see that.

Joe, are the evening trains included in the day ticket? I've bought for Friday and Saturday.

Everything will face Holt* except 9466.

*Visiting 4MT hadn't arrived when I'd left, but it was planned for it to face Holt.

I believe so. Both Friday and Saturday Black Prince will be hauling our evening service which will be hosting our Burger and a Pint train. Departures from Sheringham are 1847 & 2030 from platform 2 both nights.

To order the burger and pint, simply make your way to the general office on the day which is situated in the shop on platform one at Sheringham. You will collect the burger from the catering outlet on platform 2. The pint can be collected from the Gresley buffet car which will be on the train. (The pint is real ale only).
The Gresley will have Beer, Wines, Ciders and much more on board throughout the day and night.

    Hope that helps.

    8572, 564, 90775, 92203 and 76084 all face Holt
9466 and 80078 face Sheringham. 80078 wasn’t supposed to be, but alas, such is life!

Just an update. When the Y14 arrived back on shed last night a fault was found and it won’t be in traffic today.

The plan is for ‘Black Prince’ to drop onto the Y14 diagram and B12 to do both beer and burger trains this evening.

Not sure of the plan Sunday, but will try and keep you all updated

The turn on the B12 I did on Saturday evening was most enjoyable and the punters on the platform seem to enjoy themselves too.

If there is anyone reading this that came to the NNR gala and has a few moments to answer a short questionnaire, please go ahead! These answer will provide great feedback to shape galas to come, so they are vital to the growth and progression of the event.

    Thanks!

I visited on Saturday, I liked the two visiting engines facing towards Sheringham as it made for some different photo opportunities than my previous visits.

Interesting position for a member of the footplate crew to be stood in!

He is likely positioned there to look backwards and relay the guard's hand signals to the driver, which is the process by which steam crews stop in the right place when setting down at the request stop at Kelling Halt. I agree it looks a little odd in the photo!
