May I share your feedback on a closed group for NNR volunteers please? It's always nice sharing positive feedback!

Please do, also the TTI's & Catering Staff might like to see it - possibly via the Manager?

The NNR is one of my favourite heritage lines.
Great facilities, excellent locomotives and rolling stock, alway very friendly and great scenery - especially when the sun is shining.

Can’t wait for my next visit in October - I’m travelling 10,000 miles to get there.

I think in the last twenty years the NNR has rightfully taken it's place amongst the premier heritage lines in the country.

Considering the M&GN Society was one of the first preservation groups in the UK, the NNR perhaps didn't have the best of starts when compared to some of it's contemporaries.

It is a very different railway to the industrial dominated days of the '80s.

All down to the hard work and perseverance of the staff, volunteers and supporters.

Just to add to the positive feedback, I also visited the NNR last weekend with my five year old daughter.
Our only gripe was that on the Saturday, we couldn't park at either Sheringham or Weybourne, and had to come back on the Sunday (and park at Holt).
Everyone we encountered from the railway was very pleasant and helpful, and we both had a great time. My daughter especially liked the railway coach cottage at Holt, and the carriage interiors (like others, I have always found them very clean and well presented on the NNR; not always the case elsewhere, I'm afraid).
A lovely railway, we always look forward to a visit.
    Keep up the good work![IMG]

Perhaps a poll of best coaches is called for?

Parking has long been an issue on the NNR. Best advice for anyone who doesn’t mind a little walk, have a look in the side streets up the hill and the side streets towards Weybourne before the garage on the coast road. When my family used to visit, that’s what we did, until my mum and dad bought a house and moved on a road we often used to park on!

80078 is already in the region, and I guess 9466 can come in by rail across the Sheringham level crossing. So fingers crossed no cancellations this year due to transport issues.

80078 is going to Mangapps for Bank Holiday weekend before moving to NNR. 9466 is currently at West Somerset and will move by road.

I saw 80078 heading down the M11 this morning, no doubt on its way to Mangapps? When I was much younger I used to drive articulated trucks in that area, and Mangapps would not be the most convenient of places to get to with a 70 foot long 120 tonne low loader.

Very much looking forward to seeing 80078 for all three days at the NNR gala.

That’s correct. Off to Mangapps for the weekend, then to the NNR next week!

We are running two evening trips on the Friday and Saturday, beer and a burger for £10. Either hauled by the B12 or if ready Black Prince
