    Details of this year's annual event as lifted from their website are below, always a firm favourite of ours and in the diary:

    ANNUAL STEAM GALA!
    Our Annual Steam Gala is over the weekend of the 27/28 of July.

    There will be four steam locomotives coming (subject to availability), three of which will be visiting for the first time!

    They are 'Roger', 'Liassic' and 'Jack Lane' from Statfold Barn Railway and 'Kidbrooke' coming from the Yaxham Light Railway.

    A frequent service will run from 10 am - 5 pm on both days.

    Refreshments will be available.

    A photographic charter will run on the Friday (26th) by 30742 Charters -click the link below for more details.

    Excellent set of pics Harold, the human interest ones in particular. Seeing them makes me regret not visiting
    Nice to meet up with you again at West Lancs today. As always, having a chat with you both was very enjoyable
