    The siding is only just round the corner, it is visible from the road bridge that is just off that end of the station

    Great day out today, Bahamas excelled herself with lots of fast running in the 70's, blew out a few cobwebs! Class 20 kept it's (considerable!) nose out, apart from a push away from an emergency brake application near Pontypool. Very enjoyable experience, VT on top form.

    Some photos from Hereford and Birmingham yesterday. It was a great day, and the red 20 on the back made a nice change to the green 47. Roll on York next week!

    45596 climbing away from Abergavenny through the Brecons with the outward leg yesterday. Not much exhaust wise from the Jube (aside from Dorridge), but always sounding spectacular. DSC_1501 (2).JPG

    Yes it has, a long time ago. On 23rd April 1994 we did Worcester Shrub Hill - Gloucester - Maindee East - Hereford - Shrewsbury - Crewe. Prior to that, we did the reverse itinerary on the 26th March.

    Sorry about the delay, but my effort from Cwmbran is on my flickr site.

    I did wait around for Britannia, but the shot did not work (which was completely my fault)

    I have also attempted to post the image, but it is just showing as IMG

    I'm confused Jeremy. You mention that you had ''a pleasant day out and here are my views of Bananas''.
    Is there an error because at the end of your clips the filming is credited to a James Foster? <BJ>

    My full name is Jeremy James Foster English so one alter-ego is the first and last names, t'other is the middle ones.

    Perhaps I'm schizoid! I adopted these two ;) when I first started RailScene in 1984 so it wouldn't look like I was doing it solo . . . and I still do! In 35+ years of this usage you are the first person to spot this*!!!! :Happy:

    * or, admit to it.
