Steam tys to Oxford . Diesel drag to parkway , steam circular to oxford , the junction being at the north end of oxford station . 7029 will be facing south at that point .

Do you mean Bicester South Junction as I am not sure what a drag to Oxford Parkway achieves?

Best not to overcomplicate this one, I suggest.

Train arrives at Oxford from Solihull at c 0930.
Train goes into sidings at Oxford for servicing.
Train is pulled back to Parkway and diesel is detached.
Luncheon circular takes place at c 1200 without the diesel that remains at Parkway.
Luncheon returns to Parkway where diesel is reattached and train continues to Oxford (c 1600).
Train is pulled into sidings for servicing while 7029 goes to Didcot for turning and servicing. Back for an Oxford depart (c 1800).

I have no information but I take it on trust that VT has done its homework and knows how it will work!

Has there ever been a steam tour that has used the West side of the West Ealing triangle? Regularly used for WCRC turning moves as mentioned and 9466 took the ECS that way last year but I lived in the Hayes & Hillingdon area for most of my life and I can not remember one. Took me ages to do it on a service train, and then only because one weekend due to engineering works they ran a Slough to Greenford service.
No idea the last time a steam service train would have been that way.
