Good question. I don't have a definitive answer for you, but....
    1. It's not a good idea to load straight from a camera or your personal storage as the image size is usually quite large.
    2. If the image is too large it takes forever to load and then slows up your device (and everyone else's) when you try and view it.
    3. My photographic club expects images for display to be resized down to 1600 pixels x 1200 pixels. That's a good start.

Thanks for that - so in theory I could upload a 10Mb video file?

No... "png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif" file extensions only (so just images). Video only allows embedding. So Youtube, Vimeo or similar I guess. Much better to use a video provider like that anyway, as they handle all the video formats the various browsers will play.

    Oh, that's dull :(

Never mind, it's not worth uploading anyway - it's just the video from which the still I posted was taken from. Plus, I'm rather nervous about the idea of a YT account.

    Why?
I, and loads of posters on here, have YouTube accounts and this thread and What’s Going On would be a rather dull place without the video contributions from YouTube members.

And before the hares are set running.....remember that DBC has a select and limited bunch of steam crews and so a diesel pilot doesn't require a full DBC steam crew to be on board Tornado. That keeps steam crews free for the serious stuff. (Just my guess, I have to say.)

Tornado at Wetheral station. They must have detached the diesel at Upperby. It was on the front when it arrived there. 20190509_130332.jpg

I wonder how many passengers moved forward ready to board their steam hauled service to Euston...... They do because I've seen it when the 8F ran through towards Preston in the same path as this one and also when a freight did the same thing, all because the announcer said the next train to stop in P4 etc etc.. Still I suppose and 8F or a DB liveried 91 look much like a Voyager/Pendolino.

I believe there's a Steam Dreams tour involving this loco and Mayflower 'top-and-tailed'. I am encouraging a colleague and very good friend of mine to get himself on it in Posh Nosh class :)
