    I don't often do this, but I shot some video with a GoPro while lineside (have used the Slo-Motion option for some short clips to show the motion, which won't have sound)

    Some interesting fire and boiler management there ahead of the departure. As we arrived at Crewe from the south, the skies darkened and it looked like a storm until we saw what was going on at P12. Quite a contrast when as we left northbound, Tornado was slipping quickly onto its train at P11 with hardly a wisp of steam or smoke.

    Full reports on three but was anybody here on the Brit trip to report on performance. Presumably the Generator coach was taken. Didn’t have time at Crewe to check as our Charter was approaching

    Yes the Generator coach was part of the consist. If memory serves me correctly next to the loco leaving Crewe.

    Generator coach was indeed right behind loco, class 47 was just disappearing back on shed when we arrived at Crewe on the 175 from Shrewsbury.
