Can't see a thread for this but it was announced via the K&WVR Facebook this morning that LNER B12 8572 will now not be attending

"Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, B12 8572 will not be attending the KWVR Spring Steam Gala. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused, however, we are pleased to announce a fantastic line up of 45596 (subject to mainline tests), 45212, 75078, 5820, 41241, 78022 and 1054 with more in the pipelines. Keep an eye out for further announcements, we hope to see you there!"

Still looks a fantastic Gala otherwise!

As I live 280 miles away its no problem for me, as I visit for the resident locos.

46521 now confirmed as visiting engine. Should look great with 41241 and 78022!

Read somewhere that they hope to have something out this coming weekend but of course all that could change.

Looks like an excellent gala, and really good that tickets can now be pre-booked online through the KWVR website.

Thans for that. If I read it right, Bahamas spends the whole of Saturday parked at Ingrow West so Sunday looks a better day to visit on that basis.

Yea that's right, due to the profile of the loco with the new tyres it sits above the Railways load for the line, so has a reduced number of running days available (similar to when Royal Scot and Scotsman visited).

Gives you the chance to cab it on the Saturday, but yea, the Sunday is better in terms of seeing it run.

This would seem to be an example of extremely bad planning if true.
Thanks for your effort in producing the three PDFs attached to your message.

Sounds like a plan but on the Saturday you also get 60009 through Keighley just after 1 o'clock. Decisions, decisions!

I've just received an e-mail from the KWVR mailing list about the gala. 45596 is at the top of the list of "Stars of The Show", but there's no mention that this "star" won't be working passenger trains on the Saturday.

Public and Working timetables for each of the three days of the gala are now available on the KWVR website via links at the bottom of https://kwvr.co.uk/event/2019-spring-gala/2019-03-08/
Note that all are presented as links to .jpg files which do not print neatly or completely on an A4 printer.

Sorry for my ignorance but I've read this 10 times and still don't get it. Do the new tyres make Bahamas heavier, or higher, or what? Am quite happy to accept that your explanation is correct, but I would just like to understand. Thanks.

Depends on what equipment you have.
I have a HP desktop computer and was able to convert the jpg files to PDF ideal for printing.
