    Ahhh...reminds me of happy days spotting at Manchester. BEA Viscounts/Vanguards + Tridents. Not forgetting the Dan Air Comets and 707's and the BOAC VC10's!

    Air Canada DC8, Dan Air Comet and Laker DC10 at Ringway, Manchester in 1975 and a Dan Air Comet at the Museum of Flight at East Fortune a few years ago.

    I was taken to see the first one, 1969 I think it was, it was parked in the South Maintenance area, likewise, somewhere I have a (B&W) photo of it.
