Don't like the loco, model looks good though. I noticed it says 'as per NYMR', does that mean the tender roof can be removed too? :-k

Saw this on display at Carnforth. Looks fantastic. Hopefully I'll be able to get hold of a model myself.

I also saw it on display at Carnforth.

Very realistic even down to the flangeless 3rd pair drivers.

Picked mine up at the 'Mega Malvern' Toy fair on sunday.

It's not really my region but what a lovely model. Runs like a dream and takes a realistic load too.

got myself the LMS version yesterday, was the last one the shop had, but only just run it. amazing model, runs beautifully even on my terrible track and is packed full of detail (e.g. painted seats on either side of the cab). the shop owner told me that bachmann had sold out of them so any that are out there will be buried away by careful owners now. the owner reckoned a second batch should only be a matter of time though. he said this coming year would bring some very interesting and unusual models from bachmann, and given how popular the super D has been we'll have to get in quick with those as well

The detail in the cab is fantastic, given that you cant see it!
