2999 has a launch event for May I believe, have a look through the galas and events thread. It's all there.

I was under the impression that 4079 was very near completion but requires the boiler to come out for testing/commissioning.

S15 No. 825 has just had its overhauled boiler refitted to the frames at Grosmont, so final reassembly is now underway. I'd guess at some time around Easter for initial running and a main line test run before the peak season to bring the Whitby fleet up to five engines. S160 2253 is said by its owners to be expected to be undertaking test running at the NYMR around March, before moving to Paignton.

Photo has appeared on FB of 48305 in steam. Still cabless(!) but has moved under its own power for the first time in a few years.

No it is on the same date it always is.;)
Easter Day is always the first Sunday after the first calculated Full Moon on or after March 21st.
If the Full Moon is on a Sunday, Easter Day is on the next Sunday.
