    Belle1, many thanks for posting this; I saw it on TV earlier today but was too late to record it. Good to see Tornado alongside another icon - 850.

    Malc, Good call! How true! Tornado is a story and the media, especially regional media, like stories.

    Is there any truth in reports that Tornado could be seen on the side of the M1 on its side yesterday? Not wanting to create fuss i am just interested!

    How? when there are pictures on this site of it being towed to the loco sheds a loughborough a full day before you say its on its side on the M1?

    Hey, yeah a copper that i know in the area of yorkshire said that he had been called out to an accident involving a steam locomotive on its way to liecestershire, and that it could be Tornado

    Tornado is most definitely and more importantly safely at the GC - remember it is Great Dorset Steam Fair next week and even as early as Tuesday gone I've seen heavies on the roads heading there.

    Oh and to all of the A1 Trust, and all their visiting crew supporting the tests, she looks incredible and thank you for finally making me proud to say I come from Darlington.
