50049 rescues HST.. or not... 12/10/18

    50049 Defiance,running as 50011 Centurion on one side, was scrambled to rescue a HST at Bromsgrove on the 12th October 2018.. I just happened to be at Stourbridge Junction and managed to get a short video. In the end the HST managed to get going so 50049 returned to Kiddy.

    Interesting!

    How exactly did it come about, is there an agreement between the owners & NR/TOC or was it just a SOS call?

    I have no idea!! I didnt know it was happening, I was on Stourbridge Junction waiting for a lift when the announcement said stand back the train approaching does not stop here so I got phone out just in case it was something interesting ..and it was!!
