So when we come to look at the KWVR list are we going to count every loco that has passed through Keighley station on the Aire Valley line? Personally I do not think that either the T9 or Gladstone should be included as they have not worked on the line since reopening, but this is Dan's idea so it is up to him to decide where the line should be drawn.

Out of interest, whats the maximum number of the SE&CR locos that have been available at one time?

Its the stuff of dreams, the 'D' class in steam one day!

There are four (out of eight) running currently. We tried to get five at last year's Branchline gala (H, C, O1 and two Ps) but unfortunately, the C failed and the O1 wasn't ready, so we missed having all five available by a matter of weeks. I'm not sure if five have ever been available all at once previously in preservation - I don't think so.

A further permutation for the KWVR is that it has had a number of loco that have called in for servicing but due to the lines axle loading (I think) were not permitted to haul passenger trains.

Off the top of my head

    70000
60532 not sure if this haul trains
4472 but subsequently has run this year as 60103 of course
    6201

and whilst stored there for a while 46115 wasn't operational I don't think.

I knew that one had run. I tend to think of it as a (heavily) rebuilt GWR 5101 class, but I suppose you could call it a WSR 9351 class instead.

Hmmmm... Maybe I should have thought more clearly about rules 46 posts ago! You’re right - the point was about running locos, so let’s say locos that have moved under their own power on the line. So under that criteria the T9 is back off the list - ironically, as it spent far longer at the Bluebell than many of the others on the list!

Apologies for lack of forethought on my part ;-)
