Are any more open days planned at the Fawley Hill Railway, following the death of. Sir William McAlpine? If so, does anyone know how you get tickets or who to contact for a group visit please?

The railway and museum were set up as a trust some years ago, and will be continuing, I understand. You can only access Open Days as part of a group visit, not as an individual. I regret I cannot find the details of my visit a couple of years ago to give contact details - I'll post again if I find them.

I've now had an email from Fawley saying they still run 4 to 5 invitation-only events each year for groups.

The next (and last event for 2018) is in August. We (the Fawley volunteers) have been advised that Lady Judy (Sir Bill's widow) intends to keep things going for the foreseeable future
