Both trips now fully booked going by the booking page on RTC website. When I checked last night there were over 20 first class seats left. All classes gone this morning.

Just had RTC email me. Cancelled as no loco is available. Guess that 35018 isn't coming south then...

I wonder if there is any chance 35018 might be kept down South to join the pool of loco's for the Dorset Coast Express season.
Currently the pool consists of 60009 and 45305. Is 45305 actually available yet?

Edit: I guess it won't be as the 9th July trip has been cancelled.......

9th July trip has now been removed from RTC site. Bournemouth Belle is still on there at the moment.

Perhaps can't be spared from the northern pool, which does not have much more depth to it than the south ....

Belle seems to have gone from the site now. Maybe full of course.

the Yorkshireman is still there and states fully booked in all classes (of course they may only delete from the website once the waiting lists also reaches a certain size)

If 45690 has a problem then there are no spares at Carnforth if you work it out.

Even more disappointing for Rtc to have to cancel 2 fully booked trips for a lack of suitable locos

Email received saying Bournemouth Belle is Postponed due to there being no suitable Southern locomotive available. Expected to be rearranged for October?

Seems we have a shortage of Merchant Navy-types out there running to meet market forces :)

    A wildly speculative conclusion

An interesting comment bearing in mind 34052 is fit and well and seemingly has no commitments that long weekend.

Hosking has removed all of his locos from WCRC books. Only allows operation with his own TOC and DBC
