All set to clear Brewham at around 62 mph but checked by late WEY - BRI unit. Signalling issues?

It is plain to see why Torbay Expresses are so popular, especially when accompanied by performances such as this. Not only does the West of England main line give the opportunity for some great effects, and sounds, but equally so does the Dartmouth line. It may not be the longest line but it does usually give all the train associated features that passengers hope for and additionally passes though magnificent scenery.

An absolutely stunning performance up to Whiteball Tunnel this evening, I just love this engine! Here's a slightly edited still from my video at Burlescombe, which should be available tomorrow afternoon.

Couple of points from my lineside chase today
    1) If chasing Clan Line and she is late - be prepared for her to make the time back before your next planned interception - I saw her at Brewham (Strap Lane Upton Noble) and thought I had plenty of time to get to Whiteball - when I got there though, she was only 3 mins behind me ( I had expected more like 25mins)
    2) She raced along Dawlish Seawall this evening and I must admit having been monitoring on the maps part of Open Train times, I was a bit surprised when they cleared her path at Newton Abbot immediately in front of an HST/Class 43 service - I guess that is part of why she then raced along the line
    3) She was putting out a lot of visible smoke considering we weren't expecting to see much due to the hot weather

Will post some still images once I have chance to look them over (as well as some of 34212 from yesterday) - it has been a long two days

Actually Richard came through the train and told us it was because of cows on the line near Brewham Sean.
