We took part in 3 mainline trips, a dash to Berlin with Class 03, followed by the thrash to Tharandt with parallel running, and a double headed circular via Nossen. All well restored, clean and in good condition. The second class are vinyl covered upholstery but comfortable enough. The first class are 6 to a compartment side corridor, very well upholstered and comfortable. Toilets are the original straight through to the track!! The Mitropa dining car is well restored with wooden panelling at the "shop" end and newer tables in the dining end. All travelled very well at speed (one of our party was clocking us at around 100kmph by satnav).
All the window drops worked, if a little stiff on some.
