Trying to get a day off for this gala, does anyone know if the timetable is less frequent on the Friday like at some lines or is it a full timetable all three days?

    Cheers,

Think in previous years Friday and Saturday have been full timetable and Sunday was slightly reduced? Can’t be certain though

45699 is due to haul the trip on the 3rd according to an email from RTC received today, and Jubilee and a black 5 for the trip on the 17th.

I emailed the ELR about when they were going to release the loco allocation timetable and they replied saying that they will release it just before the gala, in case any locomotives become unavailable. When "just before" is, I don't know.

Hello all, planning to head up the A34 and M6 weekend after next - haven't been to ELR for about 18 months! Anyone advise which way 'round locos are facing please? Thanks. Andy

Timetable different on all three days due to diner running on the Sunday, However there will be passenger carrying vehicles in the consist and Friday has a similar construction to Saturday with a shorter day.
Also noted to double head 2890 with everything....

Hi, does anybody know whether the ELR plan to use all loco's on all 3 days ? I appreciate that they don't want to keep re-issuing rosters due to late un-availability and I understand Leander isn't making its way until Thursday. Thanks in advance for any information in relation to loco rostering for this event.

Will wait for the roster to be posted before making a decision on travelling from the Midlands for this event, as Friday is the only day I can make it, and with no 34092......... Still, I suppose that is always a risk with visiting outside of a Sat/Sun.

Problem is. There aren’t enough trains to warrant running everything. If we did they would all do one round trip if you’re lucky. Can please everyone all of the time...

If you are that bothered about seeing 34092 save yerself a few quid and come and see it on a normal service day, you can check the roster page on the website prior to travelling and ride behind it all day. It is expected to run at least 60 days this year so you have plenty of choice as to when you travel to see it..
