Loco change at Reading on the return journey? 0Z45 arriving from Southall WCR and 5Z43 to Southall WCR departing from Reading at 18:08 by the looks of things.

Second steam of the day for me. So it's off to Twyford from Fleet (ACE) and here's 46233 heading West through Twyford today.

Four steam hauled trains out of London today meant a lot of dodging about in traffic. 46233 showing its new addition to the cabside and leaving Hanwell Bridge Sidings where the changeover from diesel was made

Why was there a DL on the back?

Presumably because 46233 was coming off the return working at Reading and the diesel would take it back to Faversham.
