Forgot to mention that this was filmed on my I-Phone 6S which not only provided a reasonably sharp image but also coped with the phone wobble because I had zoomed. The image stabaliser is quite amazing.

Glad to see that you used the phone in the horizontal plane rather than vertically like so many do.....

Great run down. Woking to sigs stop outside Salisbury in under even time and that with a 10 tsr at Basingstoke. Wayne Thompson and Clan Line at their very best. 79 Andover and 68 over Grateley with 465 tons What a way to celebrate the 59th Anniversary

According to rtt it left Sherborne 5 minutes early. I hope no one was left behind.

We actually left late. loco went passed signal and stopped on level crossing. The train reversed behind the signal before we departed.

I think the RTT time is taken from when she passed the signal (which was done when the train pulled in.) We finally left around 5 minutes late but that produced a cracking run to Salisbury!

Two shots , one at Templecombe and one just outside the village . The volunteers at the station were selling Clan Line fridge magnets , etched glasses to commemorate the end of Southern Steam and coffee for only 50p . They do a great job looking after their station .

A very muted departure from Haslemere 13 late and seems to have lost another 14 mins between there and Guildford. Some kind of problem? I hope not.

No we didn't, get facts right before posting please. It had been agreed by all concerned that 'if' the signal had was 'off' when we ran in, we could run the loco and support coach off the platform so that as many coaches as possible could be platformed. This is a regular thing done here.
Unfortunately, we couldn't move her at departure time. After much effort we managed to get her to set back a few feet, just enough to get forward momentum. Definitely not back over the level crossing, which would have been 150 plus feet.

Stonking through Milford, 16 minutes late by then and looked like it was trying to make up time but was going to run into the yellows of the stopper now in front. Looks like I could have stopped at West Byfleet and filmed it there as well as it turns out
