A question's been asked on another thread about the final bubble car workings on the Aylesbury - Princes Risborough shuttle:
    The workings are:
    2P09 Aylesbury 0635 - Princes Risborough 0654
    2A06 Princes Risborough 0720 - Aylesbury 0738
    2P16 Aylesbury 0747 - Princes Risborough 0805
    2A12 Princes Risborough 0823 - Aylesbury 0841
    2P23 Aylesbury 0849 - Princes Risborough 0908
    2A15 Princes Risborough 0916 - Aylesbury 0937

    2A46 Princes Risborough 1700 - Aylesbury 1718
    2P65 Aylesbury 1726 - Princes Risborough 1747
    2A50 Princes Risborough 1806 - Aylesbury 1823
    2P70 Aylesbury 1828 - Princes Risborough 1849
    2A55 Princes Risborough 1930 - Aylesbury 1948

For those so minded, the 18:06 from Princes Risborough is a connection off the 17:22 loco hauled service from Marylebone (you may guess that I have designs on a farewell visit if I can make it happen!)

If you intend to photograph the Bubble Cars note that they DON'T work on Saturdays - Mondays to Fridays only.

IIRC the bubble only runs m-f in the morning and evening peak. Other times its a modern DMU.

The final day - Friday 19 May as noted in the announcement; surprised that a person trained in legal matters missed the important words "final day" in the news item especially since posts 3 / 4 above had already identified the date. :)

(Robin - Apologies for my impish humour but the cue was irresistible)

The last day is 19th May and the quote refers to the last day of service.

Being withdrawn completely and presumably sold on ?. Imagine there might be a few takers in the heritage /preserved sector.

There might be a problem with spares however. I understand that part of the reason for withdrawal is the failure of 55020 (reportedly final drive) and the consequent difficulty in obtaining spares.

I'm sure they will find their way to the heritage sector but whether that is for use or as donors I don't know

I would be astounded if either of these became donors, they are in much better condition than many of the existing preserved single units. They will likely sell for record sums if the previous bubble car sale is any indication.
