    Tickets arrived today.

Load looks to be 10 (8 passenger + kitchen and POB) hopefully, even with the load guidelines, there shouldn't be any need to assist a class 8. Looking at uksteam a class 5 on the West Somerset might be a different story!

Presumably only 9 coaches over WSR with the support staying at BL?

  8. What a tremendous opportunity to travel in style to the West Somerset Railway Association AGM, due to take place in Bishops Lydeard at 14:00 on Saturday. I wonder whether any WSRA members are actually planning to do that?

I'm only guessing but that may just be a cut and paste error from the previous Minehead trip. @gwr4090 will know, of course as this is home territory for him.

Princess Elizabeth at present running a couple of minutes late entering Theale goods loop for water.

Reports suggests NO diesel at the rear. :) <BJ>

The magnificent sight of Lizzy climbing Brewham bank today was a joy to behold. Boy was she shifting. The sound was so loud that she could be heard from miles away.
The train consisted of 10 maroon coaches .....and nothing else tagged on behind. ;)

It was a day of Midland engines in Somerset for me today. After the joy of watching Lizzy it was a short drive to Cranmore for a series of trips behind Ivatt class 2 no. 46447 at the East Somerset Railway.

Thanks to both organisations for a thoroughly enjoyable day. <BJ>
