Which is exactly what I did on the other thread. Perhaps if the way in which people decided to "correct" my unfortunate mistake of trying to be helpful in a bit of a more mature and sensible fashion it wouldn't harbour the kind of disputes and nonsense which parade around NP most of the time. Anyway MrKnowun, you're a wind up merchant anyway so you look for an excuse half the time! ;)

I'm fairly sure you are not looking for my approval, patronage or elevation to my large flock of acolytes, so I guess a missing picture of a Robin in the Snow this December is no loss.

If thats what you wish to think then so be it. I'm fairly sure I am wasting my time by repeating that was not my intention.

Not at all - Just perhaps writing "Just incase its not clear the original post from the works says ... <bla bla bla>..incase people misunderstood what BillyReopening's post" would be slightly less...well you know!!

A question for you. Would It be fair to point out that you are now elevating this into the kind of disputes and nonsense which parade around NP most of the time?

Oh, can it everybody. FS has had a minor technical issue, but it has been resolved and it is hoped it can move south. It probably would have been better had @BillyReopening quoted his source verbatim rather than in paraphrase to avoid ambiguity, but really, does it need a whole page of argument so as to completely obscure the relevant news? Those whose default posting mode is on a hair trigger should consider whether so being is really adding to the attractiveness of the forum for people who might be quieter but have more salient information to impart?

Jeez, no wonder I can rarely find the time or the will to visit NP anymore thanks to likes of Mr Nobody and his ilk. Clearly far to much time on their hands. (E&OE).

Not leaning over the fence seems a bit keen! Elbows on fence, zoom lens over, is the normal position for a photographer.:)

The problem is Tom that this latest bout of silliness has arisen from the pointless decision not to allow the posting of times of FS' movements on a forum whose participants are not going to go out and commit trespass, and when it's not difficult to glean the information from elsewhere. I assume that when the 47 is being used for reversing movements it is deemed that it is hauling the train and so the times can be published.;)

On the contrary, presumptuous, perhaps, as I believed you had the wit to understand the unstated allusion in my original comment.
