Yes just noticed RTT is reporting Wakefield is to be missed out. Hopefully they can make up a few mins at Brighouse.

From RTT, left Sheffield 55 down. Looks like the Wakefield stop has been kicked into touch.

Into water stop only ten late. Some spirited running courtesy of Micks Kelly and Rawling. And it can be reported that Galatea is feeling well today. :)

Couple of lovely sequences at two great locations. Indeed that first location is superb.

Many thanks Bryan, there's been some tree clearance there since my last visit which allows a bit more light through

It would seem from time recovered that NR have played ball today where they could have insisted on the train running in the hour late slot for the rest of the day. Well done all concerned.

A brlliant day with the TB. Lively running and some impressive climbs. 31 over Copy Pit with about 550 gross seems pretty good to me. And apart from us being held to time outside Preston, NR Control worked some magic in helping up grab back time on the easy pathing after Sheffield. Pure steam with a very expensive train heating device on the back. But at least we were warm and the windows didn't steam up.

Thank you WCRC and the RTC for a great day.

Surprised to see you on this given your remarks in the VT cancellation thread. ;)
Glad it all went well though.

4E at Church & Oswaldtwistle working hard away from the tight curve at Accrington and on up to Rishton. Some cracking photos and vids (already), and well done to all operating the tour to get it back on time; it was cold enough at 5pm, 6pm and dark might have persuaded be to stay at home.

I agree with Big Al, an excellent trip, it brought back memories of the days when we had an ETHEL in the consist, to keep us warm!
